LongLife timber window profiles with proven double-vacuum oil impregnation (with
depth effect) result in a high-quality and reasonably priced timber window in new
design.
They are available in different timber species e.g. spruce, pine, larch, oak,
as well as with different finger joint distances (20 cm +/50 cm +).
PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Timber species:
- Spruce, pine, larch, oak - Annual ring orientation quarter sawn/half quarter sawn
(=vertical annual rings - advantages: surface with only few shakes and
dimensionally stable)
- 3 times D4 laminated according to ift directives
- Timber quality according to sorting criteria of Holz Schiller GmbH
- Length: 6 m bars
- Timber moisture content: 13 % +/- 2 %
Structure:
- 3 times laminated special structure according to ift Rosenheim directives for blind frames, wings and mullions.
- Transom, blind frame bottom side also available with Purenit
(rot-proof insulation material)
Construction/corner joints:
- Based on DIN 68 121: double rabbet, rounded edges, corner joint as mitre or
counter profile according to Stegherr system partner
Uncoupling of the functions guaranteed:
- Stability of the corner joint is based on three pillars: Dowel connection +
Hoffmann dovetail + Screw connection
- Tightness of the corner joint due to high-tech nano particle
hydrophobising + special polyurethane gluing
Ironmongery:
- For all standard ironmongery (IV 68) with 13 mm distance between
centre lines and EURO RABBET 24 mm
Gasket:
- Circumferential, replaceable central gasket not subject to weathering as well
as one gasket at the casement overlap
Surface:
- Planed and finely polished, ground and smoothened
- Industrial, water-bases surface treatment:
• Priming • Intermediate coat • Top coat
