Timber species:

Spruce - Annual ring orientation quarter sawn/half quarter sawn (=vertical annual rings - advantages: surface with only few shakes and dimensionally stable)
Quality according to sorting criteria of Holz Schiller GmbH
Length: 6 m bars
Harmonic optics due to large finger joint distances on the inside (100 cm +)
Timber moisture content: 13 % +/- 2 %

Structure:

5 times laminated special structure according to ift Rosenheim directives for blind frames, wings and mullions
6 times laminated special structure according to ift Rosenheim directives for transom, bottom blind frame also available with Purenit (rot-proof insulation material)

Construction/corner joints:

Based on DIN 68 121: double rabbet, rounded edges, corner joint as mitre (counter profile not possible)

Uncoupling of the functions guaranteed:

Stability of the corner joint is based on three pillars: Dowel connection + Hoffmann dovetail + Screw connection
Tightness of the corner joint due to high-tech nano particle hydrophobising + special polyurethane gluing

Ironmongery:

For all standard ironmongery (IV 68) with 13 mm distance between centre lines and EURO RABBET 24 mm

Gasket:

Circumferential, replaceable central gasket not subject to weathering as well as one gasket at the casement overlap

Surface:

Planed and finely polished
Impregnated with fungicide on all sides
The PVC foil (on the weathered side) is protected against contamination and spray mist during the processing by means of a protection foil; thus, nor more masking is required
Available with intermediate coat (soft finish) and top coat on the inside
