DendroLight – the lightweight building board

... allows a various area of application: furniture manufacture, interior finish element, caravan and ship construction, shop fitting, doors, worktops, tabletops...

The dendroLIGHT ® lightweight building board is the invention since the coming of lightweight construction. For the first time a product with low density (ca. 270 kg/m²) shows the positive technical qualities of a solid timber board.

The dendroLIGHT ® board is the ideal board in a time of capitalising ecology and tradition. Due to its lightweight and technical qualities there are for the the dendroLIGHT ® hardly any boundaries. This dendroLIGHT board is manufactured from local timber.

The innovative board with its chamber system is generated by a high-tech production process. The dendroLIGHT ® middle layer, an invention of Berger Solutions Group, is pressed to a board by using various top boards.

The dendroLIGHT ® middle layer

„type standard“ end-grain wood- comb lamellae of Standard-dendroLIGHT ®-block is sawed in thickness according to customers request or standard measures plus 1mm grinding stock.

wood moisture:
ca. 9% +/- 2%

quality:
bright wood, colour defect allowed, knots up to D=30mm allowed, breakages allowed

suitable:
e.g. for interior door inlay
„type comfort“ end-grain wood- comb lamellae of Standard-dendroLIGHT ®-block is sawed in thickness according to customers request or standard measures plus 1mm grinding stock.

e.g. for furniture boards to direct edging

The dendroLIGHT ® advantages

  • renewable raw material PEFC certified
  • low raw density (app. 270 kg/m³)
  • excellent stability values (comparable with plywood)
  • very good thermal insulation
  • homogeneous, even, however highly stress able heart material
  • high energy consumption at destruction
  • highly resistant to fire (without flame retardant F30)
  • low production costs

highly economical
